Meet Char

I didn't just build a lash business. I built a life I once couldn't picture.

Hey, I'm Char — owner of Chars Lash Bar, lash artist, mom, professional overthinker, and the woman behind this little dream that somehow became so much bigger than I imagined.

And if you're here because you're deciding whether you trust me with your lashes... hi. But there's a lot more behind this business than lashes.

I didn't come from the life I'm building.

My upbringing wasn't easy. It wasn't stable, polished or anything I'd ever want to recreate for my own kids.

For a long time, those were just things I had to survive. As I got older — and especially when I became a mom — they became something else: fuel.

I knew exactly what I wanted to do differently. I wanted to build stability where there hadn't always been stability. Create opportunities I didn't have. Show my kids that where you come from does not get to decide where you end up.

And more than anything, I wanted them to grow up one day, look back at their childhood and be able to say:

"My mom moved mountains for us."

That's the goal. Not to look rich. Not to prove something to the people who doubted me. Not even to build the biggest business.

To change what comes next.

Then came Chars Lash Bar.

Chars Lash Bar became one of the ways I started doing exactly that.

I didn't inherit a business. I didn't start with money, connections or some perfectly mapped-out plan. I started with what I had.

And I worked.

One client became another. One certification became thirteen. A tiny beginning became a fully booked business. Eventually, that business became a storefront. Then came a six-figure year, recognition in my community, and a space where other women could build businesses of their own.

Brick by brick, I built something that didn't exist before me.

And I'm still building.

A few things I'm proud of

But here's what I'm proudest of.

The women.

The clients who trusted me before Chars Lash Bar looked anything like it does today. The ones who have grown with me. The appointments that turned into friendships.

The women who've celebrated birthdays, babies, marriages, breakups, new jobs, terrible weeks and some of the biggest moments of their lives while lying on my lash bed.

That's the part nobody puts on a revenue report.

And that's the part I never want to lose.

What it feels like here

Come dressed up. Come looking like you just fought for your life getting the kids out the door. Talk for two hours. Fall asleep twelve minutes in. Tell me your entire life story. Say absolutely nothing.

You're welcome here exactly how you walked in.

My job is to make sure you walk back out feeling just a little more like yourself... with significantly better lashes.

Luxury service. Very unserious lash artist.

I'm still becoming the woman I needed when I was younger — and the mom I hope my kids will someday look back on and say moved mountains for them.

Defying the odds was never the side effect. It was the whole damn point.

Everything I'm building starts there.

Welcome to Chars Lash Bar. I'm really glad you're here.
